Lynda Braunstein-Gilcher began working with stained glass over 20 years ago. During this time, she has sold a wide range of glassware from wholesale gifts to finished retail items to custom commissioned windows. Traveling to art and wholesale shows each year showcased her artwork in over 15 neighboring states. In 2002, Lynda opened her first retail location in Loveland Ohio called Lynda’s Artistic Haven. There she sold stained glass and polymer clay artwork made in her own studio space along with representing art by other local area artists. In 2006 she moved into the Loveland Art Studios on Main building allowing her to focus her creativity as a studio artist creating fine art jewelry and glass designs. Currently she teaches in her own studio and also travels as a guest artist to Midwest polymer guilds to share her experience with others. Five years ago she began volunteering with the Loveland Arts Council serving as treasurer for two years and is currently president. In this position she works to expand the appreciation and awareness of art in Loveland and nearby communities.
Lynda’s husband Jon may not have the ‘eye’ for color selection that Lynda does but if it can be made in glass, he can probably do it. He teaches the evening glass classes ranging from one-evening classes to larger window projects and also fusing.
