Artists’ Love Stories: The Power of Creative Partnerships:
LASM Abstract Artist Lucinda Peterson (Studio 112) will host hold a video-viewing event in the Gallery area celebrating “Artists’ Love Stories: The Power of Creative Partnerships.” She’ll also lead a community-painting event. Guests can help create large-scale pieces in the style of the iconic couple Jackson Pollock and Lee Kranzner. Exploring Pollock’s drip-painting technique and Krazner’s abstract gestures, participants will “create art” on a large canvas using sticks, sponges, dried paint brushes — even squirt guns! — imitating the action gestures of Krazner’s and Jackson’s abstract works. ALL are invited to join in the fun! Large trash bags to protect your clothing and disposable gloves will be available for free! Canvases and supplies for creating individual masterpieces will also be available for a fee as long as long as supplies last.

On Sunday, finished works will be exhibited and a silent auction will take place!
Proceeds will support the new Art League of Loveland. Membership opportunities will be available.
