This year’s exhibit, Cincinnati Masters: Old & New, features paintings from the Nippert Private Collection not seen in decades, including work from Duveneck, Farny, and Hauser. Several residents have expressed an interest in holding a holiday art show here on Saturday, December 7. We plan to begin advertising this weekend, but we need to know who will be participating.

Loveland Art Show Returns
A sunny Sunday along the Scenic Little Miami River in Loveland set the scene for the return of the Loveland Art Show. The popular art exhibition, as much a part of Loveland’s fall landscape as the turning of leaves more than 20 years, was missing from the autumn scenery for two years.
“It’s great to be back,” said Loveland area artist Deirdre Dyson.
Dyson is one of the original organizers of the art show which reached its pinnacle with over 80 artists showing their creative talents two years ago in September 2016. She was one of 27 juried artists exhibiting in the 2019 return of the Loveland Art Show. An enthusiastic response by patrons was encouraging to her.
“It’s been steady,” she said of the crowd during the show. “It started a little early actually. People were here about 9:30. People are interested, not many just strollers; they stop to look at the art work.”

Resident Wins Loveland Art Show Poster contest!
Resident artist Kim Wanamaker won the City of Loveland’s poster contest to promote the upcoming return of the Loveland Art Show, which will be held Sunday, September 8, in Nisbet Park from 10 AM-5 PM. The juried show features artisans in painting, ceramics, jewelry, fiber arts, metal/sculpture, mixed media, and wood. Award winners of the show will be announced at noon on September 8.
Kim has been a graphic designer since 1989 and has freelanced at a variety of studios/agencies. She has also worked as a creative director for Lighthouse magazine, Inspire Magazine, and Venue Magazine, which she co-owns with her husband, Steve Wanamaker. As a graphic designer, Kim specializes in promotional communication, such as logo designs, brochures, invitations, posters, and signage. She is also a fine arts painter and teaches art classes for all ages at her studio. Read More…
Studio 206 is currently open and available for lease. This second floor studio features wonderful northern light exposure from a tall window which would be terrific for painting, drawing, or any other art medium you happen to work with.
